Serving as President of NMA for over twenty years, Nan McKay is widely recognized as a national speaker. She has served as a management consultant in the private and governmental sectors. Nan is a proven professional in both the PHA industry and in the private sector for subsidized housing. She is a Certified Housing Manager and has spent 17 years working for housing agencies, including being Executive Director at a Minnesota HA. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the National Leased Housing Association. As President of Nan McKay and Associates, Inc., she has written 22 books, produced several videotapes, and presented thousands of seminars on the administration of low-income housing. Nan's training manuals and tapes are used daily in HUD and HA offices throughout the country. She holds a BA Degree in Business Administration and has completed course work toward a Master's Degree in Public Administration.
Mr. Adair is the Vice President of Finance and a Senior Associate for Nan McKay. He has been with Nan McKay for 14 years. In his role as Vice President of Finance Mr. Adair directs the accounting, financial management, risk management, investments and retirement programs of the Company. In his role as Senior Associate, he directs the financial and accounting services offered by Nan McKay to its national clients. He has a wide range of experience in the finance and accounting area both for private companies and for governmental entities. He is considered one of the public housing industry's leading experts in the field of financial management and accounting for the public housing program, housing choice voucher program and various HUD grant programs. Mr. Adair has written and maintains the updates to the Nan McKay and Associates' Public Housing Project Based Accounting Master Book and the Housing Choice Voucher Financial Management Master Book, both of which are used as practical guides by hundreds of housing authorities around the country. Over the years, Mr. Adair has trained hundreds of housing authority staff, executives, and commissioners in the proper application of HUD's fiscal requirements for the public housing, housing choice voucher and capital grant programs as well as the proper application of Governmental GAAP. He has also provided technical assistance, conducted fiscal reviews and accounting and policy reviews for various housing authorities around the country.

In addition, Mr. Adair has assisted HUD in the development of accounting and financial reporting requirements for asset management under the new Operating Fund Rule. He served on the working group committee which provided HUD with technical assistance in regulation development and he helped author HUD's Handbook supplement "Changes in Financial Management and Reporting Requirements for Public Housing Agencies Under the New Operating Fund Rule".

Mr. Adair holds an MBA with an emphasis in accounting, he is a Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) and is a Certified Management Account (CMA) candidate with one part remaining.
Scott Matthews is Vice President of Business Development for Nan McKay & Associates (NMA) and Learning Evolution (LE), a division of NMA. NMA is a leading provider of quality training, consulting, publications and integrated performance improvement services. Mr. Matthews is responsible for all aspects of strategic business development, sales and marketing. This includes company branding, public relations, advertising, communications, and business alliances.

Mr. Matthews has 25 years of experience and subject matter expertise in developing and marketing technology-based business learning solutions, including 7 years with Apple Computer. His background includes major learning initiatives and cutting edge projects with clients such as PepsiCo, Progressive Insurance, Hormel Foods, Anheuser-Busch, A.G. Edwards, Hallmark, Southwestern Bell and the National Restaurant Association-Educational Foundation. Prior to joining NMA, Mr. Matthews was cofounder of Librix Learning, LLC, which developed and marketed e-learning solutions and a learning management system (LMS) technology. He earned a B.S.B.A. from Fontbonne University in St. Louis, Missouri and is currently pursuing his MBA in e-Commerce.
John McKay has been with Nan McKay and Associates for eight years. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer for Nan McKay and Associates, Inc and Learning Evolution, LLC. Mr. McKay has worked in training, consulting, learning, technology, and management for over 13 years. He was previously the Vice President of Operations for NMA where he started and grew both the Consulting arm, as well as the Technology Services arm and brought the first fully functional Performance Management System and Assisted Housing e-Learning Content Library to the Housing Market. As the founder of Learning Evolution, Mr. McKay took the technology expertise and started a new company focused on Performance Improvement Services to large and medium sector private business and the Federal Government. Mr. McKay holds an M.S. in Information Systems and a B.A. in History with a Minor in Business Administration. He has completed extensive course work towards a Masters in Computer Science with an emphasis in Instructional Technology Systems. Mr. McKay is also a member of the California Council for Excellence: Board of Examiners, Microsoft Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified Business Solutions Professional, Certified Public Contract Manager, National Contract Management Association fellow, and a member of the IEEE since 1999.
Cara Gillette is Manager of Professional Development at Nan McKay and Associates. She has 25 years experience in the development and administration of housing and social service programs. Ms. Gillette trains and consults nationally in public housing, fair housing, economic self-sufficiency, and governing boards. Prior to joining Nan McKay and Associates, in her 14-year tenure at the San Diego Housing Commission, she administered Section 8 and Public Housing waiting lists of 40,000 families, designed waiting list software, and managed the public housing program. She served as Section 8 Hearing Office for five years as well. In her last housing assignment at the San Diego Housing Commission, she administered self-sufficiency programs, wrote welfare-to-work grants, and created collaborative partnerships In her earlier career she founded a rural community clinic, delivering health care to low-income families. Ms. Gillette holds an M.S. in Counseling Education and a B.S. in Business Administration.
Jay Ortenzo has worked in the housing and construction industry for 29 years. He has been involved with the private sector as contractor, home builder, and landlord. He has public sector experience in CDBG programs and PHA technical services management. With his firm, CDA, he is a General Contractor for new home construction, construction management and multifamily rehabilitation. Jay studied Speech Communication at Northern Illinois University and has been a trainer with NMA for 13 years. Jay is also an approved HUD-REAC Certified trainer/inspector.
Jeremy Quinn serves as Operations Manager for both Nan McKay & Associates (NMA) and Learning Evolution (LE), a division of NMA. Mr. Quinn is responsible for managing internal procedures to ensure a sound infrastructure is in place to facilitate the high level of service NMA clients have come to expect. In addition to internal procedures, Mr. Quinn also owns project management, customer service, and customer satisfaction for all Learning Evolution and Nan McKay Online University clients and students.

Mr. Quinn has over 13 years of related project management experience and expertise in developing blended learning solutions, including 6 years as a Training Director with the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Quinn's ability to integrate his attention to detail, project management expertise, training experience, and leadership results in a high standard for all company Operations tasks, and make him a strong component of the NMA Management Team.
Sarah Waitt has been with Nan Mckay & Associates since 2004. She oversees all marketing efforts for the company, contracting and administration of all training events, and the proposal writing process for our consulting department. Prior to joining Nan McKay & Associates, she worked in marketing in both the dental and real estate fields. She is also an active volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sister of San Diego. Ms. Waitt holds a B.A. from the University of California, San Diego.
Currently Nan McKay and Associates' Consulting Manager, Teri Robertson has worked for over seven years with NMA in various managerial positions and as a senior trainer conducting seminars nationally on Section 8 and Public Housing regulations. She is also a significant contributor to the development of technical manuals and materials relating to federally subsidized housing.

Ms. Robertson has served as a Training Supervisor for a large Housing Authority, preparing, coordinating and delivering training to new and long-term employees. This involved interpreting HUD notices and transforming the information into training sessions.

Teri was heavily involved in the development and delivery of the materials used in NMA's contract with HUD Headquarters to provide training to PHAs across the country at the 2004 RHIIP Summits. Ms. Robertson therefore has an in-depth knowledge of Section 8 and Public Housing rent calculation requirements, as well as HUD Rim Review requirements.
Shawn-Paul Wilson is the Sales Operations Manager for Nan McKay & Associates. Prior to joining NMA, he served more than 20 years in the US Marine Corps. During his tenure in the Marines, Shawn-Paul led recruiting activities in the cities of Santa Ana, El Cajon, and San Diego's Military Entrance Processing Station in California, where he consistently exceeded all contracting and shipping goals. He also served as the manager of 1300 housing units in Oceanside, California for Lincoln BP Management, Inc., leading all districts in occupancy quotas, make readies / renovations timelines and maintenance call completions.
Chad Coalier has been with Learning Evolution, LLC and Nan McKay and Associates since Fall 2005. He manages technology and creative operations for both Learning Evolution, LLC and Nan McKay and Associates, Inc. Chad has worked on a wide variety of software engineering/architecture, technology consulting, strategy, and organizational development initiatives for over 15 years. He previously ran his own consulting practice that serviced a variety of Fortune 1000 clients and has also worked in the training, education, financial services, and management consulting industries.
Luke Martin is the Sales Operations Manager for NMA. Luke comes to Nan McKay and Associates with a background in teaching, marketing, and nonprofit development. He earned his B.A. and M.A. degrees in English and started his career teaching in China. Most recently he was the Director of Development for the social services department of the YMCA of San Diego County. Luke's a dedicated runner, an avid reader, and is passionate about international and community development.
