Mr. Caltabiano has been a Senior Technical Writer, Consultant and Trainer with Nan McKay & Associates for over 10 years. Mr. Caltabiano is considered one of the premier housing trainers in the United States. He trains thousands of housing professionals, including HUD Staff, every year. Mr. Caltabiano specializes in QHWRA, Section 8 Eligibility, Rent Calculation, Occupancy, Rent Reasonableness, Section 8 Management, SEMAP, Section 8 and Public Housing Customer Service, Interviewing Techniques, and Fraud Control. Mr. Caltabiano provided training to the HUD TARC staff for a second time in May 2001 on Advanced SEMAP. He assists in writing books and related course materials for training seminars, including course design, agendas, and developing and training seminars. He has performed many consulting services for various PHAs across the country and specializes in vulnerability assessments and problem solving.
Gerald Benoit joined Nan McKay & Associates in 2006 after retiring from HUD. For thirty years Mr. Benoit was the Director of Management and Operations for the certificate and housing voucher programs at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. He directed the national implementation and management of the on-going operations of the rental voucher, certificate, and moderate rehabilitation programs through the Department's field offices that provided assistance to more than five million households with an annual budget of fourteen billion dollars.
Jonathan Plasencia has just recently joined Nan McKay and Associates after serving several years in the United States Navy. The University of California, San Diego graduate is certified in both Section 8 Rent Calculation and Public Housing Rent Calculation. During Mr. Plasencia's tenure in the Navy, he held secret security clearance and created new repair methodologies on numerous different aircraft platforms to speed productivity and turn-around time.
Ms. Olive is the founder of a company named Resolution, Inc. whose solutions are focused on smart integration of technology in the workplace. Resolution positions their client's employees to work productively with technology, business processes, and change. Ms. Olive has extensive applied experience in organizational management, skills gap analysis, training, and curriculum development.
Robert Harmon is a former director of both PIC and PIH systems for the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Under Mr. Harmon's direction the PIC and PIH operations divisions worked hand-in-hand with HUD's PIH headquarters, field staff and government contractors, to support approximately 18,000 users across the United States. In addition, Mr. Harmon has vast experiences as a corporate manager, policy maker and analyst, and software developer. Prior to entering the public housing sector, Mr. Harmon was the owner and principal of HR Systems and Consulting; under his leadership the consultancy group led innovations for PC-based human resource management.
